Creating folder is exciting in iPhone. Just press hold on an app until it wriggles and then drags it onto another app, a new folder gets created. Repeat it with other apps and cluster similar apps in one folder. You can even drag apps one on the other to group them to one folder. Remember that a folder can store maximum of 12 apps.
The iPhone has a unique feature of naming the folders. This is done automatically when you cluster a group of apps like games, music, news, movies. The iPhone automatically detects the type of apps stored in the folder and hence names them accordingly. However, you also have the freedom to rename the folders.
There can maximum of 180 folders in your iPhone with each having the capacity to hold 12 apps at most. This makes total of 2160 apps that is too much for an iPhone. The iPhone has got gigabytes of in-built memory to store your apps, so you have the freedom to store as many as 2160 apps.
Folder also gives an opportunity to browse your apps easily. The icons have a great square design which looks funky and cool for gadgets. Keeping your home screen neat is always preferable. If you are a professional worker, then you must organize your home screen apps into folders to save your valuable time. Youngsters usually prefer apps related to games and social networking. Hence, it is advised to them to organize their folders according to the type of games like light games, heavy games, racing, arcade, puzzles, etc.
